Metal deburring

The metal deburring process consists in burr removal, i.e. that part of material that is in excess on products got through moulding or mechanical or cutting processes. The aim of deburring is therefore to eliminate the material in excess alongside the outlines, making the edges of the pieces linear. We use special cleaning machines having different characteristics according to the material to be treated and the type of surface to get in order to carry out the deburring process.

The cleaning machines work “by contact” and are equipped with abrasive belts or brushes to remove the material in excess. The cleaning machines, designed both horizontally or vertically, can remove the burrs from flat and cylindrical surfaces, but also from square, oval or differently shaped surfaces.
